Final Round draws near!

Just a reminder to everyone that the final round of the 2008 Minnesota Off-Road Nitro Series will be held October 11-12th at Full Throttle Raceway in Foley MN! Sean's put together another killer layout for this event, and a lot of point races are on the line.

Should be a great time, come celebrate the season finale by joining us there. Cheers!

Round 6 Scoring and Results

Due to the rain issues with Round 6, racer points will be scored based on final qualifying position. To determine the order, we are using Qual points for one round. Tie-breakers are based on the next best Qual Point round.

With that said, the final qualification standings and updated points are posted. With one race left every point counts~! Will someone be able to reel in Josh Ford in either 1/8th buggy pro or truggy? We'll see in a few weeks at Full Throttle~!

Electric forum up

Since the electric conversion is now beginning within 1/8th scale RC, we've decided to put up an Electric Revolution forum for anyone interested in exploring this further. We do have a few regulars here who are very knowledgeable in the ways of electric conversions and what-not, and I'm sure they would be glad to help any of you out.

This looks to be an exciting new track and should be a great race as the points race heats up. See you in September~!

Point standings now updated

The 2008 Series Point Standings are now updated and online for review. Due to the software re-install we are now manually calculating points for the remainder of 2008.

The only real difference is that the links from the round header to the heat results are no longer there. You will have to view each rounds results individually from the results home page.

It's important that you review your points for accuracy, report any errors or changes to jason@mnnitroseries.com

Point Standings

We've noticed and issue with the updated points standings for round 4 and are working on correcting it. If you look at the final results from Round 4, it's not showing any bump-ups, but if you click on the heat result sheets they are coming up there.

I'm going to have to re-calculate the points post round-4 the old fashioned way, I should have updated points sometime later this evening. Sorry for the confusion.

Round 4 Sunday Start Time

Just a heads up for those checking in late,.. the Sunday start time for round 4 is 8:00am. We will continue with the 3rd round of qual heats, race #5 10th nitro truck,
